Myths of Belfast

Over the course of my doctoral research I attempted to apply methodologies derived from art practice in the hope that this would would allow the city to be considered devoid of ideology. I examined a series of maps and plans of Belfast as well as attempting to map the city myself using Psychogeographic practice as retranslated by Phil Smith into Mythogeography.

The primary outcome of this research was the production of a film based on urban drifting, urban cinematics and interviews.
